Your use of the Crunchy Bridge service is subject to this Acceptable Use Policy. If you are found to be in violation of our policies at any time, as determined by Crunchy Data in its sole discretion, we may warn you or suspend or terminate your account. Please note that we may change our Acceptable Use Policy at any time, and pursuant to the Crunchy Bridge Terms of Service (the “Terms of Service”), it is your responsibility to keep up-to-date with and adhere to the policies posted here. All capitalized terms used herein have the meanings stated in the Terms of Service, unless stated otherwise.
Crunchy Bridge provides a fully managed Crunchy PostgreSQL offering hosted on top of cloud infrastructure. Crunchy Bridge makes available a cluster of Crunchy PostgreSQL database instances, with additional functionality such as backups and failover enabled as part of the managed service offering. Crunchy Bridge continuously monitors and maintains availability on customer PostgreSQL clusters and when availability issues arise will work to restore availability without customer intervention. For the full terms and conditions of your access and use of the Crunchy Bridge services, please see the Terms of Service.
In order to enable Crunchy Bridge users to benefit from the full range of functionality of PostgreSQL, Crunchy Bridge enables users to operate as PostgreSQL “superuser”, a database administrator role that has the ability to create adverse conditions on your database if used improperly. As a result, Crunchy Bridge users have the ability to install custom code, Postgres extensions and leverage untrusted programming languages. To the extent you elect to use any of the untrusted procedural languages, you assume the responsibility for not accessing or corrupting Postgres system files. Any code that the user authors is their own responsibility and in the case it interferes with data integrity or database cluster availability, we are not responsible for the availability under any applicable service level agreements.
Crunchy Data has certain soft and hard limits in using the Crunchy Bridge service. Hard limits are automatically enforced by the Crunchy Bridge service. Soft limits are consumable resources that you agree not to exceed:
If you are found to be in violation of the soft limits described in this policy, as determined by Crunchy Data in its sole discretion, we may warn you or suspend or terminate your account.
